Tinker Bell and the Great Fairy Rescue Review & Giveaway!

About the film

Before she was ever introduced to Wendy and the Lost Boys, Tinker Bell met Lizzy, a girl with a steadfast belief in fairies. Tinker Bell and the Great Fairy Rescue begins in summertime in the beautiful English countryside. An enchanting encounter unfolds when Tinker Bell is discovered by Lizzy, and as their different worlds unite, Tink develops a special bond with the curious girl in need of a friend.


As her fellow fairies launch a daring rescue, Tinker Bell takes a huge risk, putting her own safety and the future of the fairies in jeopardy. This action-packed adventure takes the fairies of Pixie Hollow on a daring flight to London to save Tinker Bell and all of fairy kind.

My thoughts


If your a Tinker Bell fan your not going to want to miss this film.  Grab the whole family and let Tinker Bell and the Great Fairy Rescue captivate you with it’s amazing colorful and magical animation.  The story begins during the first summer on the mainland when the loveable Tinker Bell ( Mae Whitman) visits “Fairy Camp.”  Tink on the exploration of finding “lost things” becomes curious after hearing a ” horseless carriage”  and finds herself  tinkering around,  as she always does,  to figure out how the  contraption works.

While walking through the meadow,  Tinker Bell and Vidia (Pamela Adlon)  stumble upon a fairy house made by Lizzy (Lauren Mote), a little girl who is fascinated with fairies.  Vidia trying to teach Tinker Bell a lesson shuts the door trapping Tinker Bell inside the tiny enchanted home.   Tink’s curiosity towards humans lands her into hot water and Lizzy soon discovers she has captured a real live fairy—a dream come true!

Tinker Bell and the Great Fairy Rescue is a story about the true power of friendship and a reminder to parents to take the time out to listen to their children.  The movie gives  a very important message that can be learned at all ages!

I love Disney films,  so I always jump at the chance to review them.  They are  pure entertainment without the worries of anything questionable coming across the screen.  I can just sit back and relax with my children and enjoy the wondrous moments.  Tinker Bell and the Great Fairy Rescue may be geared towards a young girl audience, but my son (age 2.5) adored it too!  The visual masterpiece can be equally enjoyed by everyone.  Reserve your copy now!

    My favorite Tinker Bell memory is how jealous and angry she got in Peter Pan when it came to Wendy.. I like that even in the new movies they maintained that Tinker Bell has quite a temper on her.     My Tinkerbell childhood memory (I’m 46) is of my siblings and I acting out “Peter Pan.” We’d put the record on (yes, I’m talking actual vinyl) and act out the story as it was told. I was always Wendy, my brother Peter Pan, and our little sister Tinkerbell. My brother and I would carefully instruct our sister how she was to flit about, but that she should never actually SAY anything. 😉 She was a good sport, most of the time! Now her 3-and-a-half-year-old daughter is a Disney princess fanatic and would absolutely LOVE this Tinkerbell set! 🙂

    My favorite memory of Tinkerbell is in the Peter Pan movie how she gets stuck in the jewelery box and has a hard time getting her hips through the keyhole. I like that Tink is a bit spunky. My daughter reminds me of Tinkerbell, kind, loving and beautiful with just a bit of an edge.
