I just wanted to pass on some information to all the moms who enjoy testing new products and writing reviews. Parenting.com will soon be taking registrations and based upon your profile you could receive some free great products to try out.
Here is more information directly from Parenting.com…
“When it comes to the things you buy for your family, road-tested advice from another mom can be crucial. That’s why Parenting wants you to be one of our Mom Testers!
When products come up for review, if you’re a match, we could contact you with an option to receive stuff to test (and keep, whether we print your review or not, of course!). All we’ll ask is that you give us your honest opinion, good or bad. You may also be contacted for mom-related stories to be used in the magazine.
Items we’ll need you to test could include:
- Toys and games
- Books, DVDs, CDs, or Video Games
- Health products for babies, toddlers, or kids
- Bath products for baby, toddlers, or kids
- Health and beauty products for Mom
- Gear: strollers, carriers, furniture, items for feeding and diapering, etc.”
If you are interested in becoming a Mom Tester for Parenting.com bookmark their page to keep checking back . They say registration will be starting soon!

WoW, great!! This is a brilliant idea.
I just have a reservation, however. With what tool or method of analysis would moms base their testing? Their own personal experiences with the products, am sure. But some products may be fast-acting in effect, however, in the long-run, these may have a devastating side-effects. Take most pain killers for instance. They may ease or relieve the pains in seconds, but would surely be catastrophic to our filtering machines, that is, our kidney and liver. Of course, by then it would be most profitable for dialysis machine dealers, surgeons and hospitals.

Hi Kelly,
Thank you for your comment! I don’t think I was implying I was the original person with the information since I did say in my post “information directly from parenting.com.” I’m sorry if you thought I was trying to take credit for information that was not originated by myself. I was just passing on the information I read in June parenting magazine to my readers so they might have a chance to sign up.
Thanks
Michelle
