PETA has found every way under the sun to bring awareness about supporting cruelty-free products. I happen to think the new “Be Nice to Bunnies” iPhone Application is brilliant! I need to get an iPhone just to be able to take advantage of this application.
How many times have you been out shopping and pick up an item to only ponder if a cute innocent animal had been harmed in the process of testing the product for safeness? If you are an iPhone user—your problem is now solved! The innovative group of Hot Frog Creative, and PETA teamed up and put your worries to rest!
The “Be Nice To Bunnies” is a searchable application which helps give an iPhone or iPod Touch user a convenient, fast, and informed decision about cruelty-free products on the go. It is feeding directly from PETA’s extensive cruelty-free database and provides up to date information on a wide array of items. From cosmetics, toothpaste, household, and pet care products–you can more than likely find it!
I have not tested the application (don’t have an iPhone-weeping-sniff-sniff), but it looks easy to use. You can search by manufacturer, brand, or product category. There is also the option to view all products in a full “do-test” and “don’t-test” list format. Plus, the app. gives information about companies and products that are vegan! Very cool!
“Be Nice To Bunnies” is available for purchase from the iTunes store, priced at $1.99

Hi Veronica!
I don’t have an iPhone neither! I want one but can’t afford the cost right now. The applications they have for the iPhone are amazing. I keep drooling over the Kraft Recipe app and now the Bunny app.
Hope your having a wonderful summer and thanks for stopping by!

What a cool app! I am wishing and hoping and praying for an iPhone, so if I get one (fingers crossed) I’ll have to check out this app! 🙂
