I always carry a small bottle of hand sanitizer in my purse and whip it out after shopping when there is no soap or water around to wash my hands. It’s a good way for me to protect myself from nasty germs and help to combat the flu. The problem I find is that most sanitizers are alcohol based and dry my hands out leaving them over sensitive and sore. Apparently, Gold Bond Ultimate Hand Sanitizer (I’ve never tried it) is alcohol free and STILL effective in killing 99.99 percent of common germs and bacteria in less than 15 seconds. The non-drying formula contains 7 hydrating moisturizers and 5 skin nourishing vitamins that keep your hands feeling soft.
If you would like to try Gold Bond Ultimate Hand Sanitizer Walmart is offering a free sample!
Remember to always use hand sanitizer as directed and to keep it out of the reach from young children.

Hi, thank you for this review! I’ve been reading your great updates in my mail box and thought I’d finally come and comment.
I guess you’re like me, you try to wash your hands as often as you can, but if left without you’ll use sanitizer. I will mix it with more alcohol (and wow, me too with dry hands! Soooo frustrating) as most sanitzers only have 40% which isn’t actually enough to kill most germs and bacteria – and I haven’t seen any santizers so far that will kill viruses – thus combating the cold and flu – which are viruses – not germs. Until this review, as I’ve noticed you said it will combat the flu virus. I’m excited to try goldbond now. So it actually uses the word virus on it? I haven’t seen any other sanitizer that uses the word virus – the thing that colds and flus are made of.
Most sanitzer companies basically want to make money on this H1N1 flu scare, since of course, they can’t kill a virus with a sanitzer. They are catering mostly to the poor, with no health insurance who perhaps don’t know the difference between germs and viruses. People like me, with a young child who wants to protect him in the best way possible. Unfortunately, I’ve learned through school and research that most sanitizers are actually breeding superbugs by killing the good germs too. And those with less then 40% alcohol its been found, leave more bacteria on the skin. Here’s a great article:

BTW – me too with the dry skin and alcohol – and I use alcohol and vinegar to clean @ home!
