IT HAPPENS… Puppies have accidents. And when it comes to cleaning up after a “puppy accident”… here are some good tips:
Step #1 — always remove as much of the “debris” as possible — remove solid debris or blot up liquid remnants of an accident.
Step #2 — Spray Simple Green Pet Stain & Odor Remover directly onto “accident spot,” saturating down into carpets or rugs, down to where the odor causing bacteria has likely seeped.
Step #3 — Work the solution into the stained area with a towel, sponge or carpet brush, making sure to use enough cleaning solution to saturate all of the soiled area. Work into carpet, rug or upholstery well.
Step #4 — blot up any excess solution, but do not over-blot or over-dry the stained area. The solution needs to soak in and do its job for a little while.
Step #5 — It may be helpful, if the spot is in a traffic area, to put a towel down over it while the solution works its magic.
Step #6 — Check back the next day to see if spot has dried. If so, vacuum over it to raise the nap of the carpet or rug back up. Stain should now be gone and odor, too! If not, repeat steps 1 – 5, using a little more product — you may not have used quite enough the first time around!”
