I see where you are seeking ideas for next years cabin. I suggest a “german settlers”, cabin in Central Texas. Bottom floor is constructed of rock, won’t burn easily.Used as a kitchen and sitting room Second floor is wood and used for sleeping and watching. By the way I live in the southern half of Comanche hunting grounds. The above settler’s homes were built under treaty with Quana Parker.but you never knew when a comanche would miss his deer and get into a huff or worse. They thought that all lands were made for the Comanche. The German settlers started their farming and ranching about 20 years before the civil wear. Most of the bigger local ranches have a decal saying they were started about 1865. Get a 10 -25 acre plot of land and build.
I would stay there when I wanted to see my daughter that goes to school in New York!
Dear, Hippi mom I have been entering many of the sweepstakes to be lucky enough to win a permenant home for my family that has four children.It makes me angry that people are seeking a second home.I just want one. One place to call home with a working bathtub. I rent a house that the landlord refuses to fix anything including a bathtub. It’s sad that we pay $2,000 a month not including anything and I can’t give my baby a bath. Tell the viewers to be more like a hippi and think of those that really need one home. Peace.
