Not sure what to fix for dinner? How about a fun family taco night? Nothing can beat the dinner boredom blues like delicious tacos filled with everyone’s favorite garden veggies, seasoned meats, and cheeses! And now with the newest additions to the Old El Paso line of Mexican foods, taco night not only got yummier– but easier as well!
Stand ‘N Stuff Tortillas
Kids will find tacos unproblematic to fill and hold with Old El Paso Stand ‘N Stuff Soft Flour Tortillas. As you already know, soft tortillas can be flimsy and difficult to keep the filling inside. However, with Stand ‘N Stuff Tortillas unique boat shaped design and ability to stand upright on their own, kids will find tacos less messy to fill and eat! Tortillas can be heated in the microwave or oven if desired to warm them before stuffing, but I found them to be delicious straight out of the package! No mess, fuss, or extra preparation!
The Old El Paso Stand ‘N Stuff Soft Flour Tortillas would also be wonderful for using at breakfast! A suggestion would be to fill them with scrambled eggs, potato, bacon, and cheese for a delightful morning taco!
Old El Paso Mexican Cooking Sauces
Getting that authentic Mexican flavor doesn’t have to be complicated! Now with Old El Paso Mexican Cooking Sauces delicious flavors of Roasted Tomato, Chipotle, or Chili and Roasted Garlic come conveniently packaged in ready to pour pouches! The sauces are simple to add to your favorite meats or veggies, and are perfect for traditional Mexican meals or for adding a Mexican flare to other recipes. Use them for spicing up your favorite fajitas, burritos, taco, and rice recipes.
I sliced a pound of chicken breasts into thin strips and cooked it for about 5 minutes in a hot skillet with a touch of oil. Once the chicken was lightly browned, I tossed in peppers, onions, and the Old El Paso Roasted Tomato sauce and simmered for another 5 minutes until the chicken was completely cooked. The chicken mixture come out scrumptious and the entire family loved it!
Another way to satisfy your Mexican cravings is to use the Mexican Cooking Sauces to give your boring meatloaf a bit of a flavor kick or to put a Mexican twist on macaroni and cheese.
