I want to wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving from my family to yours! Hopefully your turkey day will be filled with lots of thankfulness, friends, and mouthwatering goodies! Don’t forget to put those leftovers in the fridge as soon as you are done eating! I can’t afford to lose any readers!
I am super excited Disney FROZEN is finally opening in theaters everywhere today! The big – screen comedy adventure looks incredible! It is inspired by Hans Christian Andersen’s highly acclaimed story “The Snow Queen.” The popular tale was originally published in 1845 and has made its way into the hearts of readers for centuries. However, even though Disney FROZEN has been influenced by the classic tale it is said to be of its very own and filled with plenty of action, adventure, magic, and unforgettable characters. The story is about fear versus love and the ability to overcome fear to find the true meaning of love. I think it is going to be noted as one of Disney’s most stunning and memorable movies! Unfortunately, I missed the screening invite so all I can tell you is what I have read from the press releases. Here is the official trailer and more about the movie.

Disney FROZEN
Walt Disney Animation Studios, the studio behind “Tangled” and “Wreck-It Ralph,” presents “Frozen,” a stunning big-screen comedy adventure. Fearless optimist Anna (voice of Kristen Bell) sets off on an epic journey—teaming up with rugged mountain man Kristoff (voice of Jonathan Groff) and his loyal reindeer Sven—to find her sister Elsa (voice of Idina Menzel), whose icy powers have trapped the kingdom of Arendelle in eternal winter. Encountering Everest-like conditions, mystical trolls and a hilarious snowman named Olaf (voice of Josh Gad), Anna and Kristoff battle the elements in a race to save the kingdom.
The film is directed by Chris Buck (“Tarzan,” “Surf’s Up”) and Jennifer Lee (screenwriter, “Wreck-It Ralph”), who also wrote the screenplay. It is produced by Peter Del Vecho (“Winnie the Pooh,” “The Princess and the Frog”). Featuring original songs from Tony® winner Robert Lopez (“The Book of Mormon,” “Avenue Q”) and Kristen Anderson-Lopez (“In Transit,” “Winnie the Pooh”), and an original score by Christophe Beck (“The Muppets,” Oscar®-winning short “Paperman”), “Frozen” hits theaters in 3D on Nov. 27, 2013.

Happy Thanksgiving to you as well! Me and my 19 yoa daughter watched Frozen in the theater yesterday. It’s a good movie and I definitely recommend it. Olaf, the snowman, was my favorite. He was good for lots of laughs.

Both my kids want to see this movie really bad. I hope we can go see it next weekend. We have a bunch of family in town for the holiday so I doubt we can squeeze it in this weekend. Great review. I didn’t realize it was based off of Hans Christian Andersen’s story The Snow Queen. Should be really good.

Another thing I’m watching with my toddler are these educational videos on miniteve.com
The site is surprisingly good, developed by professionals and it’s free! I’m spreading the word because my friend recommended it and told me to pass it on
Anyway, thanks for the review!

I am planning to gift my son and his family movie theater gift cards just so they can see this movie. So far is still playing and hoping it will be there still. It looks like a great movie for them to take an 8, 6, and almost 3 (who is very advanced communicatively). They will love it as they don’t get to do much for family activities with schedules and funding. Thanks for the wonderful review!
