So, you wanna be rich, huh? How many times do we hear people say this per day? We hear the same old phrases day in day out. Phrases like:
- ‘Maybe when I win the lottery.’
- ‘I wish I had more money, all of my problems would disappear.’
- ‘I’ll be happy when I have more money.’
And other phrases to this effect. Do you find yourself saying or thinking things of a similar nature to this? Well, newsflash. You don’t need to win the lottery to be rich. You certainly don’t need to have more money to be happy. You’re already rich. How so? Read on…
Your Family And Friends
You probably have family and/or friends that love you and care about you. In studies all over the world, it has been shown that connection with others, even people we don’t know, can make us happier than money can. Building connections and maintaining relationships with other people is one of the most valuable things we can do for our wellbeing. If you want to feel richer than ever before, start putting a focus on this.
Your Health
If you are a healthy person, you have something to be grateful for. People who are bound to wheelchairs for their entire lives are happy. People with severe disabilities can be happy. If you are living on the planet and breathing, you’re already a wealthy person.
The Roof Over Your Head
You’re reading this article, so let’s assume you have a roof over your head. There are people in the world who would do anything for what you have right now.
Now you have at least three things you know you can be grateful for. This will help you to create more abundance in your life.
Real Actionable Ways To Create More Wealth
Start off by being more grateful for the things you have. Start with the things listed above. A feeling of gratefulness, focusing on the brilliant things in your life will always help you to attract better things. People who are abundant are always grateful for what they have. People can even find ‘negative’ things to be grateful for, such as debts. They teach us how to handle our money better, and what sort of life we do want instead of that which we don’t want. You can look at things like consolidated.credit to help remove this burden from your life. However, finding a way to feel grateful for the lesson will take you far too.
Can this be backed up by science? Maybe, maybe not. But, try thinking of it this way: we’re all energy. Feelings and emotions are energy. The things we want are energy. If you change your energy (the way you feel) you will likely attract the energy you want (wealth). Try it and see if it works for you.
There are all kinds of books out there that can back these claims up. It may seem a little crazy, but life is crazy. We’re all ghosts driving meat-coated skeletons, made from stardust, living on a huge ball that magically floats in the sky!

I completely agree with you about being thankful for your family and friends. I have a large extended family that I love so much.

Reminding yourself of how grateful you are is so important. There is always someone that is worse off than you so you should always be very thankful for what you have.

Very good blog post to help with being grateful for what you have. There are so many people right now who have lost their homes to Hurricanes and it is so heartbreaking. We need to care about our fellow man and help them with what we can. This is such a encouraging post that I loved reading.

I agree with you that the most important things in life can’t be bought no matter how much money you have. We are so blessed in our country but so many people fail to recognize this. Maybe all this wisdom comes with age.

My motto: An Attitude of Gratitude.

I tryand stay positive but some days it is absolutely impossible today being one fo them. We have a leaking roof and I mean leaking in a dozen spts. Had a Home Depot Card that had a balnace of over $500. Some of the numbers cant be read… so they are saying we ‘lost’ the card and the amount. Lets not talk about the water heater or anything else. I am grateful I am not hungry but that might change.

This all sounds very true. It is easy to be focused on problems and things you are unhappy about, but if you are alive, there will be something you can gripe about, you will miss the blessings if you don’t look for them.

I don’t have a lot of money but I’m grateful for all that I do have.
