As a member of the Carmex Blog Squad blogger community, I recently received a kit containing Carmex Healing Lotion and Carmex Healing Cream. Both products were created in response to consumer demands and needs to have skin care products that works as well as the healing power of the Carmex lip balms.
The Carmex Healing Lotion, available in a 5.5 ounce tube, 1 oz. travel size, or pump, features aloe and vitamin E to moisturize, heal and protect skin from dryness. It has a light, pleasant scent, and is formulated for daily healing and moisturizing. The lotion is made using a patent pending process that lets it absorb fast while delivering healing and moisturization without the yucky greasy feeling you sometimes experience from other lotions on the market. Ideal to use on hands and body to help relieve the drying effects of wind and cold weather.

Carmex Healing Cream, available in 4 ounce tube, .75 ounce travel size, or handy little tin, is a thicker, more concentrated formula that penetrates deep into the skin to help repair very dry, rough or cracked skin. It features nine concentrated healing and moisturizing ingredients and can be used anywhere on the body. It is particularly effective on areas that typically get very dry, like the hands, feet, elbows and knees. The cream absorbs fast for a non-greasy feel and has a light, pleasant scent.

My Thoughts
I have enjoyed the great healing power of Carmex lip balms for years, so I was excited to try the new skin care collection. I found the lotion to be fantastic to use right out of the shower before bed time. It doesn’t leave a greasy residue and won’t rub off on your sheets. My skin felt much softer after several daily uses.
The Carmex Healing Cream is a bit more thicker than the lotion and works fantastic on my dry heels. The only thing I noticed about the cream is it left a very slight waxy feeling, but is definitely non-greasy!
If you like products that have a strong scent, these products might not be what you are looking for. The fragrance in the Carmex lotion and cream is extremely light and have a nice sweet clean smell!
LOVE the travel size products, which are great for dropping in my purse while I’m on the go.
What I Would Like To See Changed
The products contain mineral oil , Methyl Paraben , and Propyl Paraben that I would like to see eliminated in the formula. These ingredients raise some concerns!
