Yesterday, I received a very touching email concerning a 4 year old boy named Kyle Crawford who is in desperate need of your help. Kyle is a half-Chinese, half-Caucasian beautiful little boy with aplastic anemia – a condition where the body does not produce enough new blood cells and is fatal within six months without a bone marrow transplant. Even though there is 9 million registered bone marrow donors, a match hasn’t been found for Kyle yet. Kyle needs a donor who is part-Asian, part-Caucasian to increase the likelihood of a match. Getting tested to be a bone marrow donor is as simple as swabbing your cheek.

Please please please help this family find a donor for their sweet precious boy. I know some of you that read ahappyhippymom.com have a website of your own and even though you don’t know a match, one of your readers might. Social media is an extremely powerful force that unites people all over the world. Please spread the word about Kyle (blog post, Facebook post, tweet, email, etc.) and help save his life!
