The cost of Easter, have you ever really considered it? I thought it would be entertaining to have a look at some fun facts about the holiday provided by XXXXXXXXXXXXX.com (link removed). First I wanted to share a quick rundown of what I have forked out preparing for the arrival of the Easter Bunny thus far. I spent $40 at Bath & Body Works (gift for daughter and foreign exchange student), $20 at Toys R Us (gift for son), $68 in candy, and $72 on the Easter meal–for a grand total of $200! Okay, that is outrageous! AND I didn’t even pick up anything for my hubby!
Now we all know the Christianity meaning of Easter and if we would only concentrate on the celebration of the story of the rebirth of Jesus the holiday would have cost ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. Well maybe still the $72 for the meal, since we all have to eat. Hmmm…there is a concept to ponder upon!
Anyhow, here is the infographic! Hope you enjoy it! Feel free to share how much the Easter Bunny has sent you back in 2013! I would be curious to know! HAPPY EASTER!
