Nutrition Mission:
This spring and summer, the makers of One A Day Women’s and Feeding America have teamed up to embark on year two of the Nutrition Mission, a charitable initiative to provide nutritional support to the more than 50 million Americans, including 16.7 million children who live in food insecure households. The One A Day Women’s brand and Feeding America are encouraging consumers to join their Nutrition Mission and help families across America get the nutrition they may need.
Consumers can join the Nutrition Mission through Buy a Bottle, Make a Difference. Now through July 28th, when you purchase a bottle of One A Day Women’s Multivitamins, the brand will make a donation of two meals – up to 2 million meals – to Feeding America.
The Nutrition Mission will also recognize the people that fight against hunger in their local communities by awarding four $25,000 grants to their local Feeding America food banks. Through July 1st, the Nutrition Mission encourages volunteers to share stories of how they fight hunger in their local communities to be entered for a chance to be selected for one of the four grants. Winners will be announced in September with one winner receiving a trip to meet Sheryl Crow in New York City to help further raise awareness of food insecurity.
